I had a wonderful, relaxing and quiet weekend with my husband...
our last one before he heads out to sea.
No TV. No internet.
Just the sound of waves,
cool salty air,
good beer,
lovingly cooked food
and a very happy puppy.
We saw a magnet that said, "happiness is being married to your best friend."
I am thinking this is true.....

Sounds, and looks, like an amazing weekend. I love the first and last pictures, they are so gentle, soft and have a romantic feeling. I think that we all need more weekend like this!

oh, heaven! When my husband & I were first married, we lived in Boston and drove out to the Cape every weekend. I loved it "off season" - especially empty stretches of beach! Now we are grateful for our week during the busy summer season, but I still miss those days when we had the ocean to ourselves ... and the seals!
Sounds like you will have lots of time to create ♥ I have another Ganesha up should you need his guidance. I think he enjoyed a few cold beers as well :)
